2008 Preferential Subjects There are three Preferential Subject sessions proposed for Study Committee C5. One of the three sessions (PS 1) will be held in common with Study Committee D2. The three sessions are: PS 1 - Information and Communication Systems in the Deregulation of the Electric Sector (joint with D2) PS 2 - Incentives for Investing in Generation and Transmission in an Electricity Market environment PS 3 - Interactions between System Security rules and Market rules 2006 Preferential Subjects For 2006, three (3) Preferential Subjects were proposed (PS 2 and PS 3 were later combined into one session). The 2006 Preferential Subjects were: PS 1 - Regulators and Regulation PS 2 - Electricity Markets & Market Designs PS 3 - Financial and Economic Incentives
